NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma linebacker Ryan Reynolds will be out for about four months after having surgery on a torn ligament in his knee.

Reynolds says the recovery period won't be fully known until doctors find out exactly where the tear is.

The Sooners will also be without running back Mossis Madu for a few days. Madu sprained his left ankle during practice yesterday but says he hopes to be back before spring practice ends next week.
