ENID, Okla. (AP) Police arrest an Enid man wanted in the February shooting death of a man outside a convenience store. 24-year-old Jeremiah Daniel Jamieson was arrested Saturday after police spotted him getting into a van driven by his father. Investigators believe Jamieson had fled to Arkansas but was traveling back and forth to Oklahoma.
Jamieson has been charged with first-degree murder and currently is being held at the Garfield County jail.
A warrant had been issued for his arrest in the February 24th shooting death of Sirrikkii Perry. Police say Perry was found shot to death in the passenger seat of a car parked outside a convenience store.
Enid Police say Jamieson and several members of his family were aware of the warrant for his arrest and were not cooperating with law enforcement.
Police also arrested Jamieson's girlfriend, 21-year-old Kristi Johnson, on suspicions she acted as a material witness to the crime.
