More than 1,200 sheep and 300 cattle will be returned to land in Craig County. The owner, Bradley Bell, is accused of allowing them to starve. Craig County Sheriff’s deputies seized the animals in January after seeing hundreds of sheep dead or dying on the property.

In an interim settlement, Bradley Bell agreed to pay $4,600 for care of the surviving sheep and cattle. Officials say the under terms of the settlement, the bank that holds the lien, will take immediate possession of the animals and return them to Bell's property.

Bell faces a May 25th preliminary hearing in Craig County District Court.
