A Tulsa Police motorcycle officer is recovering after he was involved in a traffic accident. It happened near 71st and Sheridan Tuesday afternoon.

Officer Ross Ford was pulling over a car when another vehicle pulled in front of him. Ford spun out and crashed. Police say Ford was conscious and treated at a Tulsa hospital.

The driver of the car involved in accident was cited for failure to yield.
