OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Even-money favorite CC Policy wins the Oklahoma Futurity Sunday night at Remington Park as trainer Eddie Wells saddles the $152,000 race's top three finishers.
CC Policy fought to the end of the 350-yard race before edging stablemate Possum Fust by a nose at the wire. Nothing Excluded finished third in the race for 2-year-old quarter horses.
Bill Price of Thackerville owns CC Policy, an Oklahoma-bred daughter of Corona Cartel who is 2-for-2 in her career. CC Policy raised her career earnings to more than $51,500.
CC Policy won in 17.993 seconds on a fast track.
