OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) A 15-year-old boy critically injured earlier this month when an oil tank battery exploded in southwest Oklahoma City is released from the hospital and returns home.

Oklahoma City Deputy Fire Chief Tony Young says Ethan Baker still will need many hospital visits on an outpatient basis and continued therapy at home.

Baker was near the battery when it exploded on March 12th and suffered second- and third-degree burns to more than 45 percent of his body.

Young says Baker's family believes the boy's recovery thus far has been, quote, "nothing short of miraculous."
