Oklahoma City Heading To NAIA Semifinals

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) Oklahoma City University will look to advance to the NAIA men's basketball finals Monday night when it takes on Faulkner, Alabama, in the semifinals in Kansas City, Missouri.

The 33-2 Stars defeated Azusa Pacific of California 84-68 on Saturday in the quarterfinals.

Meanwhile, the 24-10 Faulkner squad defeated Northwestern Oklahoma 76-59 in Saturday's quarterfinal match up.

The Stars and Faulkner will hook up Monday night at 8 p.m. The other semifinal match up features undefeated Robert Morris of Illinois versus Concordia, California.

Oklahoma Baptist and Southern Nazarene both were ousted in the second round of the tournament last week.
