SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) A man and his son have been found dead in their Syracuse, New York, home after a 30-hour standoff.

The incident began Saturday afternoon. Police think a 62-year-old man shot his 34-year-old son to death. The father either died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound or was shot to death by police before they entered the home last night.

A Syracuse T-V station says the father was angry that his son refused to participate in an arranged marriage in their native Cambodia.

The older man's wife was wounded and is reported in critical condition.

Two other children in the home, ages 11 and 13, and the son's wife escaped at the beginning of the incident by climbing out a window.
