ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) Vijay Singh closed with a 3-under 67 for a 2-shot victory over Rocco Mediate at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Singh finally won this event after three runner-up finishes.
Singh's 31st career triumph tied him with Harry "Lighthorse" Cooper for most by foreign-born players.
Singh finished at 8-under 272 and moved atop the money list this year at $2.6 million.
