BUGTUSSLE, Okla. (AP) -- The death of a man found near Bugtussle in southeastern Oklahoma is being investigated as a homicide.

Pittsburg County Undersheriff Richard Sexton says a passerby reported finding the man's body in the middle of a road last night between 9:30 and 10 p.m.

No information about the man has been released at this time.

Sexton says the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation will be assisting the sheriff's department.
