ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Vijay Singh closed with a three-under 67 for a two-shot victory over Rocco Mediate at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Singh finally won this event after three runner-up finishes.
Singh's 31st career triumph tied him with Harry "Lighthorse" Cooper for most by foreign-born players.
Singh finished at eight-under 272 and moved atop the money list this year at $2.6 million.
