OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Five Oklahoma women's teams begin their quests for the NAIA national title today in Jackson, Tennessee.
Oklahoma City (26-7) faces an 8:30 a.m. tipoff in its game against Freed-Hardeman, Tennessee. Oklahoma Christian (22-7) doesn't see action against Cumberlands, Kentucky, until 5:45 this evening.
On Thursday, Oklahoma Baptist (23-9) starts the day of competition off with a game against Cumberland, Tennessee, at 9 a.m., followed by a 12:30 p.m. tipoff for the Azusa Pacific, California game against Langston. Southern Nazarene's game against Loyola, Louisiana, is set for 8 P-M.
The winners advance to the second round on Friday and quarterfinals competition on Saturday. The semifinals are set for Monday and the championship game will be the following day.
