OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The Oklahoma State Cowboys, who made it to the semifinals of the Big 12 Conference men's tournament, receive a bid to play in the National Invitation Tournament.

OSU will play in the East Regional of the 32-team tournament, hosting Marist (24-8) at 9 p.m. Tuesday in Stillwater.

The winner will play either North Carolina State or Drexel in the second round on Friday.

The 22-12 Cowboys lost 69-64 to Texas Saturday, and Texas lost to Kansas in overtime 88-84 on Sunday.

Head coach Sean Sutton says his team is looking forward to competing in the NIT and hopes to carry over momentum generated from the past week of play.

The quarterfinals are set for March 20th through the 22nd, the semifinals will be held March 27th at Madison Square Garden in New York City and the championship game is set for March 29th.
