Tulsa Police are investigating a Thursday evening shooting. This shooting occurred in the 2300 block of North Cincinnati Thursday evening. Police say someone shot a woman several times and then took off in a vehicle.

The unidentified 39-year-old victim is hospitalized in serious condition. â€œAll indications right now, point that the shooting actually took place inside a vehicle. And the shooter or shooters then threw her from the vehicle to the side of the road where Tulsa Police and EMSA found her,â€ says Tulsa Police Sgt. Brian Hill.

Witnesses told Tulsa Police they saw a dark-colored Jeep Cherokee leave the scene. Police are still searching for that vehicle.
