MIAMI, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities say a decomposing body was found in a rural area near Miami by a student at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.

The body is being sent to the Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office in Tulsa for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Investigators say the body appears to be that of a man and has not been identified.
