A Tulsa mother is now charged with manslaughter after she was involved in a car accident that led to her unborn child's early delivery and death.

Lanie Lee Moody was about seven months pregnant when she crashed her car November 6th on state Highway 66 near Sapulpa. Her baby was delivered by ceasarean section but died three days later. Her 7 and 4-year-old children were also in the car at the time.

Moody is charged with first-degree manslaughter plus two counts of child neglect and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Sapulpa Police say they found methamphetamine in Moody's pockets and in the wrecked car after the crash.
