NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma will host Wichita State in college baseball Wednesday as the Sooners continue a nine-game homestand.

OU is coming off a three-game sweep of Western Illinois which improved the season record to 5-and-4.

Wichita State is 8-and-2 and ranked eleventh in the nation by Baseball America.

After Wednesday's game OU will begin a three-game weekend series with UC Riverside starting Friday afternoon.

The OU-Wichita State game starts at 5 Wednesday afternoon.
