MINCO, Okla. (AP) -- Grady County deputies say two more people are now charged in connection with an alleged murder-for-hire plot in which a Minco woman is accused of trying to have her estranged husband killed.
Jami Biggerstaff and Robert Mayo were arrested in what investigators have said was a plot by Kim McMullen to kill David McMullen.
Kim McMullen is charged with solicitation of first-degree murder for allegedly paying Jessie Walker $25,000 to kill or hire someone to kill David McMullen.
Biggerstaff is also charged with solicitation of first-degree murder and prosecutors say she is a friend of Kim McMullen and is believed to be the source of the funding for the plot.
Walker has also been arrested but has not been formally charged.
Investigators say Walker was brought into the plot by Mayo who's charged with obtaining money under false pretenses.
