COLEMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Authorities say an elderly Coleman man died Sunday when his pickup truck collided with another vehicle on a city street.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Donald Tipton died at a Durant hospital just before 11 a.m. Troopers say how the 76-year-old died is still under investigation.

The patrol says the truck was traveling south on the street when it failed to yield to an eastbound vehicle and was struck on the driver's front side.

The driver of the other vehicle wasn't injured.

Tipton was wearing a seat belt.
