A one vehicle accident overnight sent one person to a Tulsa hospital. It happened in front of Expo Square at the Tulsa County Fairgrounds.

Tulsa Police say the driver was in a traffic lane that came to an end, but the driver didn't turn off and hit a traffic signal light. Police say the unidentified driver was banged up in the accident, which resulted in the signal light being knocked down. A passenger in the vehicle suffered head injuries and possibly a broken leg. That person was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Tulsa Police say alcohol may have been involved. An investigation into the accident continues.
