Tulsa Police are attempting to piece together what happened Monday afternoon after a man stabbed two women, then sliced his own throat. The stabbing happened Monday afternoon at the South Glen Apartments at 57th and South Peoria.
Tulsa Police say the two women, Sandra Sanchez and Debrorah Joyce, worked at the apartment complex and one of them used to be in a relationship with the suspect, identified as Paschal Ramirez. Police say Ramirez stabbed one woman in the office, the second woman ran out the back door. Ramirez caught up with her, knocked her to the ground with a beer bottle and stabbed her.
Andrew Bennett, who witnessed the incident, told the News On 6, that is when the most bizarre part of the crime took place. "He jumped the fence, cut his throat, then passed out. The cops showed up as he tried to run again."
Tulsa Police say Ramirez fought with officers and continued to resist EMSA personnel on his way to the emergency room. Ramirez will be transferred to the Tulsa County jail once he is released from the hospital.
The names of the two victims have not been released.
