FARRIS, Okla. (AP) _ A Boswell man was killed after slamming head-on into a tractor-trailer in Atoka County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 26-year-old Michael McDowell was pronounced dead at the scene of last night's crash just west of Farris.

The patrol says McDowell was eastbound on state Highway Three about 10:20 last night when his pickup crossed the centerline and slammed head-on into a tractor-trailer driven by Gary Bagley of De Queen, Arkansas. Bagley wasn't injured.
