NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Bitterly cold overnight temperatures resulted in some record lows being set in Oklahoma.

The National Weather Service said Gage in northwestern Oklahoma was at 1 below zero to break a record of 6 degrees set in 1978.,

Ponca City recorded a low of 7 to break the record of 11 degrees set in 1979 while Hobart fell to 9 degrees to break the record of 12 set in 1933. And Lawton's 14 degrees broke the record of 15 set in 1936.
