An Oklahoma Indian tribe is asking its members to come up with a plan to take them into the 21st Century. The Osage Nation is holding a series of open forums to encourage feedback from tribal members. Leaders are hoping to put together a 25-year-plan, propelling the nation forward in areas of education, health care and economic development.
Chief Jim Gray says the response from members is encouraging.
"We've got elders, young families, we've got kids, we've got a very good cross section of Osages," he said.
The Osage Nation also plans to put a special emphasis on passing on the tribe's culture to the next generation.
