OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Hornets guard Bobby Jackson says he has been playing with a broken left thumb for the past three weeks.
The Hornets' sixth man says the injury affects his shooting and ball-handling the most, but there's nothing he can do about it. Team doctors have told him it will take about three to five weeks to completely heal.
Jackson says he injured the thumb January 19th against the San Antonio Spurs. That was his first game back after missing 21 of 22 games with cracked ribs.
The next game for the Hornets is tonight in Oklahoma City against the Memphis Grizzlies.
