CLAYTON, Okla. (AP) _ A search is under way for a missing 66-year-old woman in the southeast Oklahoma town of Clayton.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says Mattie Christian hasn't been seen since last Tuesday around noon at her apartment in the Country Village Apartment Complex.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is using an airplane to search for Christian from the air and officials are also using blood hounds in a search on the ground.

Christian is 5-feet-2 and 145 pounds with short brown hair. She was last seen wearing a purple shirt or jacket with a hood, pajama style pants and white nurse's shoes.
