A woman is recovering after she was shot through her motel room door late Monday.

Tulsa Police officers were called to the Oasis Motel on East 11th Street around 11:30 p.m. They found a woman who'd been shot once in the back.

Witnesses say an acquaintance had an argument with the woman and three other people in room. One round was fired through the door and struck the woman.

Police are looking for a black male.

The woman's injuries are not considered life threatening.
