Police say the kidnapping and rape of a Tulsa woman never happened.

The woman told police that she was kidnapped and raped while walking to the laundry room at the Westminster apartments. Police now say the woman made up the story.

Officers say they try to weed out false reports, but prefer to err on the side of caution.
