GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) _ A casino manager fired from a former job in Oklahoma is fired again, this time from a casino in Great Falls, Montana.

Officials say the Blackfeet Tribe fired Gary Green on Thursday from his job as the manager of its new Glacier Peaks Casino.

The 53-year-old Green had been hired last spring and the casino had its grand opening in late September.

Virgil Edwards of the tribe's economic development board says the board thought it needed to go in a different direction.

Green had previously worked at two tribally owned casinos.

He served as vice president of marketing at a casino near Los Angeles and later managed the Thunderbird Casino for the Absentee Shawnee Tribe in Norman, Oklahoma, where he also was fired.

Shawnee Governor Larry Nuckolls accused Green in a tribal newsletter of leaving the casino with steep debt.

Green was fired from the Oklahoma casino the day after tribal elections and says he was a victim of tribal politics.
