A woman is dead following an accident on a Tulsa train track. It happened Monday evening in downtown Tulsa near 10 North Elwood.

Tulsa Police say a man and his wife ignored warning signals and tried to cross the tracks between railcars on a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train. Before the couple could make it across the train, which was stopped for a crew change, suddenly jerked. The unidentified 48 year old woman was knocked to the ground and the train rolled over her, decapitating her, said officials.

The womanâ€™s husband was not injured.
