Skies will be sunny on Monday, but rain, snow and cold temperatures are in Oklahoma's forecast for the upcoming work week.
The National Weather Service said high pressure will remain in control Monday with clear and dry conditions. But precipitation will return to the forecast by Tuesday as a series of weather systems bring moisture to the state.
There will be chances for rain across the south and snow across central and northern Oklahoma. Rain and snow will remain in the forecast through Friday.
Skies will be sunny on Monday with highs in the 40s.
Monday night will be partly to mostly cloudy with a slight chance of snow in the Oklahoma Panhandle after midnight. Temperatures will be cold with lows in the mid teens to near 30.
Tuesday will be partly to mostly cloudy with a slight chance of snow in the far western Panhandle. Highs will be in the lower 30s to lower 40s with lows in the teens and 20s.
Skies will be cloudy on Wednesday with a chance of rain or snow. Highs will be in the 30s with lows in the mid teens to mid 20s.
Rain and snow are also likely on Thursday and Friday. Conditions will be dry in the Oklahoma Panhandle on Friday. Highs will be mostly in the 30s to mid 40s. Lows will be in the teens and 20s.
