MIAMI (AP) _ The Chicago Bears have arrived in Miami in preparation for next Sunday's Super Bowl.

Coach Lovie Smith bounded down the steps of the team's airplane sporting an orange tie and several players recorded the biggest event of their football careers on camcorders.

It's the Bears first trip to the Super Bowl in 21 years.

Their chartered plane had a big Bears logo on the side when it arrived at Miami International Airport. As they taxied up to the gate, the pilot opened up a cockpit window and flew a giant Bears flag.

The AFC champion Indianapolis Colts don't arrive until Monday. Media Day is Tuesday at Dolphin Stadium.
