Tulsa Police and Fire investigators have arrested an arson suspect in connection with an apartment complex fire Sunday evening.

The fire at 1615 South Baltimore Avenue, occurred shortly after 9 PM Sunday. Tulsa Fire Captain Larry Bowles says Donald Fipps allegedly kicked in the front door of an apartment building and set a small fire in the hallway.

The fire caused $1,000 in damage to the building.

Fipps was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of first-degree arson and second-degree burglary.
