STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma State's fourth-ranked wresters had little trouble with Oregon as it won nine of 10 matches en route to a 34-to-3 victory.
OSU improved to 11-and-3 on the season, while Oregon dropped to 5-and-7 on the year.
The Cowboys started with a six-point advantage when Oregon forfeited the starting weight at 174. OSU then quickly put the dual out of reach by winning the next five consecutive matches.
The Cowboys were working on several major decisions, but could not get the final takedown. Jack Jensen won a 9-and-2 decision at 184, followed by an 11-to-6 decision by Jared Shelton.
Oklahoma State will hit the road next weekend when it travels to the state of Iowa to face Northern Iowa and Iowa State on Saturday and Sunday.
