The search resumes today for a pick-up truck carrying radioactive material. The truck was swept from a bridge over swollen Coal Creek near McAlester.

Authorities blame runoff from melting ice and snow and heavy rains for the accident. Two people in the truck got out safely. But the vehicle disappeared in the creek.

The radioactive materials are used in pipeline scanning equipment.

Officials hope the creek's level will fall enough today to reveal the truck.
