The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has issued a travel advisory concerning fuel availability for southeast Oklahoma.
OHP trooper Lt. Chris West says motorists should make sure they have adequate levels of fuel prior to traveling through ice stricken southeast Oklahoma.
The ability to purchase fuel especially along US highway 69 and the Indian Nations Turnpike is severely limited.
Lt. Chris West says gas stations in the region are unable to pump fuel because many of the service stations have no power.
Elsewhere, the price of gasoline is falling in the Tulsa area.
A check of gas pumps across town show the prices have dropped to its lowest point in quite some time.
Right now, the price of regular unleaded gasoline is now $1.89 a gallon.
