OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A twin-engine aircraft made an emergency landing at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City early Thursday afternoon, shutting down the airport's only open runway.
"A King Air tried to land and its landing gear collapsed on landing," said airport director Mark Kranenburg.
It was not known how many people were on board the plane, but no injuries were reported.
Television video showed the plane landing on its belly and skidding to a stop near the middle of the runway on the east side of the airport.
The airport's other runways are closed because of snow and ice from a winter storm. Workers were trying to clear them with grading equipment.
The runway has since been reopened.
