The constant thawing and re-freezing of the ice is making some Tulsa area streets and parking lots very dangerous.

The News on 6 found delivery trucks and cars spinning their wheels, as drivers try to make their way around town.

And school crews chipped away at two to three inches of ice, covering the sidewalks at the Margaret Hudson School at 1515 South 71st East Avenue in Tulsa. They say they feel like their fighting a losing battle.

It took two hours for them to clear just one small stretch. They just hope the sun comes out soon.
