JACKSON, Miss. (AP) -- An escaped Oklahoma prisoner who eluded authorities for more than five months is back in custody in Mississippi.
OHP Lieutenant Ronnie Hampton says 27-year-old Aaron Paul Victory was captured by US Marshals in Jackson, Mississippi, Sunday night at a relative's home.
Victory walked away from a work crew in McCurtain County back in August. He was serving time for burglary at the minimum-security McCloud Correctional Facility in Atoka.
Authorities say they're working to extradite Victory back to Oklahoma.
