OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Colleges and students across Oklahoma are looking for ways to control the rising cost of textbooks are costing students up to $300 or more.
Oklahoma Panhandle State University is now renting about 80 percent of the books its students need while some students on going online to find better deals.
University of Oklahoma student Ben Stinsman says some Web sites match students looking to sell textbooks with students who are looking to buy.
He says students can sell newer books at a better price than they would get by selling to the campus bookstore and are still paying less than they would if they bought the book at the bookstore.
