NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Courtney Paris is the Phillips 66 Big 12 Womens Basketball player of the week.
Paris added to her Big 12 record with her 14th weekly honor, five as player of the week and nine as rookie of the week. She earned player of the week for the second time this season.
Paris, a 6-foot-4 center, set the Oklahoma single game scoring record while posting an NCAA season high 43 points in the Sooners' 80-to-58 win over New Mexico.
Additionally, Paris grabbed 25 rebounds -- one shy of her own Big 12 and OU record -- to become the second player in Big 12 history and the first in OU history to collect 40 points and 20 rebounds in a game.
She also set OU and Big 12 records with 20 field goals made on 26 attempts.
