FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) Gary Ervin and Sonny Weems each scored 14 points to help Arkansas knock off Tulsa 68-59 in the Razorbacks final non-conference game of the season Tuesday.
Charles Thomas scored 13 points and Patrick Beverley added 11.
The Razorbacks (11-3) saw a double-figure lead shrink to 2-points, 42-40, midway through the 2nd half before going on an 8-0 run to take command. Ervin and Weems keyed the run with Weems pushing Arkansas lead to 53-43 with a pair of free throws with 9:25 left in the game.
For Tulsa (9-3), Mark Hill and Ben Uzoh hit back to back 3-pointers.
But the Razorbacks surged again. Weems hit a 3-pointer and Charles Thomas hit three free throws to extend the lead to 59-48. Steven Hill then scored inside on a reverse lay-up.
Mark Hill led with a game-high 17 points. Uzoh added 12 and Jamel McLean 11.
Arkansas played most of the game without Darian Townes. Arkansas coach Stan Heath said Townes was "frustrated" and was sent to the locker room for the second half. Heath said he and Townes would meet later.
