OU fans are still coping after losing a heartbreaking game to Boise State in Monday's Fiesta Bowl.
A plane full of Sooner supporters arrived at Tulsa International Tuesday afternoon. While they were discouraged by the loss, many said they respected the way Boise State was able to pull off the victory.
Geoff Haxton, the host of Sports Morning on FM 97.1 says most of his listeners agreed, telling him they were not too angry with the outcome of the game. "That's what we heard on our two hours this morning on the airwaves, a lot of admiration for both teams, and a lot of respect. They should respect. You gotta give the credit to Boise State, they made the plays at the end of the game to win."
Many of the OU fans coming back from Phoenix were exhausted, saying that because the game went so late, they were only able to sleep for a few hours before having to catch their flight back to Tulsa.
