ENID, Okla. (AP) -- An autopsy report delivered to investigators in Enid indicates the body of a 2-year-old boy showed signs of abuse.
Police have said Adrieon Ratzlaff's death in August was a homicide, but it remains unclear how he was killed.
A report by medical examiner Eric Duval indicates Ratzlaff died of blunt force trauma to the head. He also had bruises on his neck, chest, back and abdomen.
Enid police Lieutenant Dean Grassino won't say who police suspect was responsible for the boy's death or whether arrests are expected.
The boy was at home alone with his mother's common-law husband, 22-year-old Patrick Phillips, called 911 to report the child wasn't breathing.
Phillips has since been arrested twice on unrelated drug charges.
