NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma's men's basketball team is back in action Thursday as the Sooners host SMU.
The Sooners have won three straight contests. SMU has won its last seven.
The 7-and-3 Sooners are coming off a 58-to-48 victory over Tulsa on Thursday in the All-College Classic in Oklahoma City. The Mustangs posted a 64-and-62 win at TCU the same evening.
The Mustangs are off to their best 10-game start since the 1999-2000 when they also began 9-and-1. SMU's only loss came at Florida State in the third game of the season, 59-to-52.
OU has won 36 of its last 39 home games and is 5-and-1 in Norman this year. Oklahoma is outscoring its opponents by 15.7 points a game on the season and boasts a 8.4 rebounding advantage per contest -- best in the Big 12 Conference.
