TULSA, Okla. (AP) Several recent methamphetamine-related fatalities highlight the continuing dangers posed by the drug despite law enforcement efforts to crack down on dealers and users.

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency says in a recent report that the illegal stimulant remains the principal drug of concern in the state of Oklahoma. Meth is produced both in Mexico and locally in small, clandestine labs.

Recent incidents that underscore the state's meth problems include a car crash in Sapulpa involving a pregnant woman believed to be under the influence of meth. After the crash, the unborn child was delivered by Cesarean section and died.

Also, police say the driver blamed for a six-fatality crash in the Tulsa area was high on meth at the time of the wreck.
