SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) _ Former Tulsa coach Dave Rader says he doubts he will return next year as Alabama's offensive coordinator.
Rader is in Shreveport this week preparing the Crimson Tide offense for Thursday's Independence Bowl meeting against Oklahoma State.
While Rader says his future is uncertain, he knows he wants to continue coaching either at the Division One or NFL level.
Crimson Tide head coach Mike Shula was fired last month, and it's doubtful his assistants will be retained when a new coach is hired.
Rader was Tulsa's head coach for 12 seasons before being fired in 1999. He joined Shula's staff in 2003.
