BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (AP) Authorities in south Florida say one person is dead and three gunmen have been arrested at a crowded shopping mall north of Miami.

The shooting has prompted police to evacuate the building while they search for more possible suspects.

A mall spokesman says the person was shot in a mall common area and not inside a store, but it is unclear what sparked the shooting.

Boynton Beach Major Frank Briganti told CNN that investigators think the person killed was targeted by the suspects at the Boynton Beach Mall.
