A serial armed-robbery suspect is in custody after his mother turned him in to police.

Officers arrested 30-year-old, Courtney Fletcher Thursday.

Records say Fletcher confessed to nine robberies, including one Wednesday night at a Shell gas station. According to the documents, Fletcher also admitted a surveillance picture from a Subway robbery was him.

Witnesses thought he had a gun, but Fletcher says he used a hammer or a gas nozzle to look like a gun.
