NORMAN, Okla. (AP) Oklahoma football players say there's no chance they'll take Boise State lightly when the two play in the January 1st Fiesta Bowl.
Although the Broncos are 12-0 and ranked 9th they come from a non-BCS conference and some say 7th-ranked OU has nothing to gain and everything to lose in the game.
But coach Bob Stoops says when he watches tape of the Boise he sees a very good football team that's disciplined and plays hard.
And All-America linebacker Rufus Alexander says the Broncos have shown they can beat good teams and if OU takes them lightly Boise will show they can beat the Sooners too.
Quarterback Paul Thompson is just as blunt saying if OU takes Boise lightly then the Sooners will get run out of the building.
